The per-entry provenance and the transmission-rebuild refusal are useful boundaries. I'd make "spec not verified for this build" a state the UI enforces, rather than only a caveat beside a ready-to-use number. In particular, a missing engine/build match or a general-knowledge source could leave the torque field withheld and point to the source needed to confirm it. A regression fixture could ask for the same job on two engine variants and check that neither the Ask answer nor the procedure table silently reuses the other variant's value. Carrying a warning through the model helps, but it doesn't verify the underlying number.
Valid, but something as hard as a transmission change or rebuild will take you places and not using this tool in it's current state
very useful, thanks
the devchallenge part was especially useful
yeah, I agree!
thank you, I hope someone can use it or help them build something similar for cars!
BMW lover here!
BTW amazing post!
BMW all the way!
thanks for sharing
it was fun, actually helped him :D
An always-loaded 82-line context section bought me nothing: the same six answers with and without it, $0.31 to $0.34 a run either way.
