Telegram Bot for Business in Ukraine: What It Costs in 2026

A Telegram bot for a business stopped being a "nice to have" two years ago. In Ukraine, most customers would rather write to a bot than fill a form on a mobile site - it takes 15 seconds, no registration, no cookies.

But "bot" means very different budgets depending on what it does. Here's what the market actually pays in 2026 for the four common cases, and what you get for the money.

The four real cases and their prices

Case Real range (2026) Time
Bot-visitka: catalog, prices, FAQ, contact button 4,000 - 6,000 UAH 3-5 days
Bot for leads: form, forwarding to Telegram, CRM/webhook 6,000 - 12,000 UAH 5-8 days
Bot-shop: catalog + payment + delivery/status 12,000 - 25,000 UAH 10-18 days
Bot with AI answers + knowledge base 10,000 - 30,000 UAH 7-15 days

Case 1: bot-visitka (4,000 - 6,000 UAH)

The minimum useful bot: a menu with services and prices, an FAQ, a "write to me" button, and a couple of static pages (about, contacts, how we work). Everything in one file of Python with the aiogram/telebot library, deployed to a VPS.

What it gives you: a customer gets your prices at 23:40 without waiting for a manager, and your manager gets a message instead of a lost call. For a service business in a city of a few hundred thousand people, that alone often pays for the bot in the first month.

Case 2: bot for leads (6,000 - 12,000 UAH)

The workhorse: the customer picks a service, leaves a name and phone, and the bot validates the input, sends it to your Telegram account (or a CRM via webhook), and writes the lead into your database with the source and a timestamp.

The price is driven by three things:

  • Validation. A phone number that the customer types wrong is a lost lead. The bot should check the format and ask again.
  • Routing. If you have two people on duty, the bot should route by topic or by load, not dump everything in one chat.
  • Deduplication. The same person writes twice, and you want one entry, not two.

That last part is where the difference between a 4,000 and a 12,000 UAH bot usually sits.

Case 3: bot-shop (12,000 - 25,000 UAH)

Now it's a small shop inside Telegram: catalog, cart, checkout, payment (or a payment provider's Telegram invoice), delivery status. Expect three integrations at minimum - catalog/storage, payment, delivery - and that's where the time goes: each integration needs its own error states (payment declined, delivery API down, out of stock).

For most Ukrainian businesses this case is not worth it yet. A site plus a simple bot usually costs less and looks more trustworthy for bigger checks.

Case 4: bot with AI answers (10,000 - 30,000 UAH)

The bot answers questions using your documents - price list, warranty terms, how-to instructions. The hard part isn't the AI call, it's the corpus: someone has to prepare clean, short, dated documents, and the bot must say "I'll pass this to a human" instead of inventing warranty terms.

Budget a few days for the knowledge base preparation, and always keep a human handoff button. Businesses lose trust faster from a wrong confident answer than from "let me check with my colleague".

What always costs time (and should be priced)

  • Deployment and the domain for the bot - a bot needs HTTPS and a stable domain; a self-signed certificate breaks in some clients.
  • Backups of the bot database. If the bot stores leads, that database is your business data.
  • Analytics. Which buttons people press, where they stop, which service they ask about most.
  • One round of revisions on the texts and the menu structure. Menus always need a second pass after real users see them.

How to decide what you actually need

Ask two questions:

  1. Do you want contacts or do you want sales? Contacts -> bot-visitka. Sales -> bot for leads, with routing and validation.
  2. Do you have a catalog worth browsing in Telegram? No -> don't build a shop. Yes -> consider it, but price the integrations separately.

And be honest about scale: a bot for 20 leads a week does not need a queue system; a bot for 2,000 leads a week does. Price for the traffic you have, not the traffic you dream about.

What you get from me

  • Source code you own, a README, and deployment instructions
  • A working admin panel or Telegram commands for changing prices and texts without a developer
  • Analytics of button usage
  • 7 days of bug fixes after launch
  • A handover call (30 minutes) so your team can answer themselves
