We Did It: Our First Client Project Is Live

We did it. TTMCHANGE just delivered our first project for a real client, Tacliin Online.

A few months ago this was just an idea between a few young Somali developers in Mogadishu. We had skills, late nights, and a lot of ambition, but no clients. Today a business is actually using something we built. Honestly, that feeling is hard to describe.

Getting that first yes was the hardest part. A lot of businesses here are still unsure about trusting a young local tech team, and we understand why. So we listened, we worked hard, and we made sure what we delivered actually fit their needs.

Big thanks to Tacliin Online for trusting us first. You took a chance on a new team and we won't forget it.

This is client number one. We're already working on what's next, including AI. More soon, insha'Allah.

If you're a developer building in Somalia, East Africa, or any market where tech is still growing, I'd love to hear your story in the comments.

Congratulations on the first delivery. One thing worth doing this week while it is fresh: write down how this project actually ran. How handover went, what Tacliin asked after launch, who answers when something breaks. The second client will expect the experience of the first one, and the teams that struggle are the ones where that experience lives only in memory. The notes you take now become the process client two sees.

Thank you, really valuable advice! Perfect timing too, since we just delivered our second project and I already noticed a lot of what we learned was only in our heads. We'll start writing it down so every client gets the same experience. Appreciate it 🙏
