Love, love, love this retrospective! ❤️ And as always, I learned so much!

Thank you for introducing me to new writers and topics. There were so many amazing posts this time around!

Here are a few that really stood out to me:

@omarafifi — My Phone Broke and Gemini Fixed It
@sweetpapa — 26 Ways to Use Coding Agents for Non-Coding Tasks
@kenielzep97 — The Art of the Misconception
@tagzauthor — The Third Way Through AI
@tanay_dwivedi9098 — I Developed an App That Can Kill You
@alptekin — Dreams & Cheers
@sameerqaiser17 — If-Else Statements: When I Finally Got It

Every one of these had something epic to offer! ✨

Yours is basically the tutorial of a game called dev.to, so of course it had to be the very first one. 😄
Anybody can skip it, but it gives you so much advantage, you really shouldn't, just like in video games.

lol fair enough. Though why 65 specifically where it could have been an even number like 100?

Thank you so much, Giorgi! 🙏

Seeing my story "I Let AI Design Tools Build My Portfolio Site" in the Hall of Fame means a lot. It's an honor to be in a list with 64 other authors.

I'm glad you picked out "Fast generation is useful. Blind acceptance isn't." That's the main lesson I took from the whole experiment. And I'm glad the title didn't scare you off. 😄 Clients really did respond well, as long as I reviewed the output and didn't just accept it.

Reading every one of those 250+ comments, and finding the time to write feedback on each, is a huge effort. Thank you for giving all of our posts a second life.

This is such a wonderful thing to do for the community! I love that you took the time to actually read through everyone's work and share your own thoughts on each article, rather than just putting together a list of links. That's a lot of time and effort, and I think it really shows.

I especially love that some of these articles had barely gotten any attention before this. There are so many talented people sharing great things on DEV, and sometimes the best posts just get buried.

Congrats to everyone featured here! I'm definitely bookmarking this because there are quite a few articles I want to check out. This is exactly the kind of community spirit that makes me enjoy being part of DEV. Really awesome work, Giorgi!

From Idea to Launch: How Developers Can Build Successful Startups

Thanks for reading it, Giorgi! @georgekobaidze I definitely let that article get long haha 😅. The customer side of building a startup is something I think we developers can easily put off because we're so focused on building the product itself. You can spend weeks getting everything right and still end up building something people don't need. Thanks for including my article in the list, really appreciate it! 😊

Took you up on the "pick one exhibit" challenge and went with Suprie's idempotency post, mostly because I'd just been bitten by exactly that. My side project takes $1 crypto payments, and the provider retries its payment webhook, so the same "paid" event can land several times. I ended up acting only when the status actually changes, plus a single conditional UPDATE so one payment can't be spent twice.

Curious about those eight zero-reaction posts: did any of them get a noticeable bump after this went live?
