Nvidia outlined its infrastructure vision for Europe at GTC Berlin, introducing the DSX Pod modular data center designed for rapid deployment using Vera Rubin racks, alongside autonomous vehicle partnerships and upcoming developer tooling for robotics.
The new DSX Pod system
The first major announcement was the DSX Pod, a ready-to-use, modular data center system. The system is delivered in a large metal container, includes the company's own computing racks, and can be up and running in just fourteen days.
The interruption by Greenpeace
During the speech, two Greenpeace protesters stood up holding a banner with the message “Clean up your dirty work.” As security removed them from the room, Huang asked the security men to be lenient with them.
Collaborations in the automotive industry and robotics
Huang also announced partnerships with European automakers Volkswagen and Mercedes on autonomous vehicles. Nvidia plans to release a ready-made reference robot called Agile One in the first quarter of next year.
