Runware introduces modular Sonic Inference Pods built on factory lines to streamline AI infrastructure deployment.
Featuring closed-loop liquid cooling and a targeted 48-hour setup, the approach offers flexible compute rental or bring-your-own-GPU subscription models.
How are they made and where are they located?
The units are called Sonic Inference Pods. According to the company’s co-founder and CEO, Flaviu Radulescu, Runware already has one factory and is building a second one in Romania, which is expected to be operational early next year. The company aims to increase production at its factory to 30 megawatts per day by 2028.
Quick installation and customer options
The company claims that installation and setup of the units can be completed within 48 hours. Customers have the option of either renting ready-made computing power or providing their own graphics cards, paying a monthly subscription fee.
Cooling and financing
As for their operation, the company says the units use a closed liquid cooling system and do not require connection to an external water supply. Meanwhile, Runware has raised over $60 million so far and is planning a new round of funding, while claiming to have already received $1 billion in committed interest for its units.
