Iβm actually busy enjoying the festival right now, so maybe thatβs why random questions keep popping into my head instead of productive coding idea...

Cpp, hands down!π
And Happy Ganesh Chaturthi!
Cpp really? Wow π²
Happy Ganesh chaturthi!!
Well, it was my second programming language after C but I still find it really easier to do competitive programming in Cppπ
And Happy Engineer's Day too!
Sorry for the late reply By the way, people at our office are kinda weird⦠they kept me busy! Lol
Anyway, Happy Engineerβs Day!
In this life, probably TypeScript. πΈ
I like it because it has a nice balance and works well across both frontend and backend. Maybe Iβm always looking for balance because Iβm a Libra. βοΈπΉ
If I had to choose something completely different, maybe Zig?
It feels sharp and uncompromising, so living a life like an edgy punk might be fun too. πΉ
Typescript op π₯
I already hangout with JS and TS everyday, maybe they are not always pleasant to work with, but we have to admit it, they are versatile.
I think it would actually be fun to hang out with C++. I associate it with 3D graphics and all these cool 3D modelling apps, so I imagine C++ as this bubbly, pink, intimidating person who knows way too much about computers. ππ
You are cool Alexandra!ππ§‘
Divyanshi Didi how many followers you've got in dev.to?
also how you, xulingfeng, and others get at least more than 25 likes, in fact when I mentioned xulingfeng in thanks post literally maybe xulingfeng effect β οΈπ₯my that post after long time reached above 150 views(otherwise after my first 20 post my views got stuck at 30-50)
Hope you'll tell why only you guys are having views and likes
Youβre trying to make me laugh until my stomach hurts, huh? The "xulingfeng effect" π Interact more with other DEV creators, leave more comments. We learn from each other and grow together.
not kidding, before thanks xuilingfeng post my on an average views per post 35-50 in fact some below 25.
but when I published that post it reached 170.
and after that my all post are at least crossing 25 views.
xulingfeng's effect for sure.
still I want to know why you guys've hundreds maybe thousands views, and I've not.
Divyanshi didi and I joined dev.to same date yet I know she is for sure far ahead than me in stats.
including follower count, total views.
my total followers: near 1050.
total views: near 5000
22 users like this post so basically this is not popular.
Definitely, itβs the ultimate super glue language of the universe: Python!π€£
You need a real python?π
No need. Speaking of the Chinese zodiac, I was born in the Year of the Snake π.π
Ohh, youβre a Snake! ππ I asked AI about it, and apparently the Snake is traditionally associated with:
β’ π§ Wisdom
β’ π Sharp observation
β’ β¨ Intuition
β’ π Calm nature
β’ π‘ Intelligence
β’ π― Thoughtfulness
Pretty cool traits! π
And in Indian/Vedic astrology, my Rashi is Meen (Pisces) β.
Hahaha, what a coincidence! Iβm also a Pisces βπ
Haha, honestly, the moment I read this comment, a little smile just appeared on my face. I donβt even know why, but somehow this made me really happy. And what a coincidenceβ¦ looks like youβre just as dangerous as me.
Currently hacking more go and typescript code.
The one language that I want to learn if i get enough time is c++.
Nice, I also like your Go series!! π
Need to catch up on that one! π
happy ganesh chaturthi sister.
python is my favorite.
i fall in love with python because of its easy syntax, vast library and it also have some creative libraries. i will learn c sharp for game development.
Happy Ganesh chaturthi prasoon! Python is really a better language! Good luck for G dev!
thank you sister
I've never really associated personalities with programming languages, but an obvious candidate for a programming language with a personality would be LOLCODE :D
P.S. the programming languages that fascinate me most are functional ones (FP), like Haskell etc - but a language like Rust (which also has strong FP characteristics) comes a good second!
LOL, LOLCODE having a personality is honestly hard to argue with
And Haskell + Rust is such an interesting combo. Functional programming definitely has its own kind of charm!
Yeah, "Hello World" in LOLCODE (courtesy Wikipedia) has got to be one of the most hilarious things in computing:
FP is intriguing because it's such a fundamentally different way to approach coding/programming - and when I looked at Rust (having previously looked at Haskell), I was surprised at the similarities - abstract data types, and the operations on them!
Probably Go made me fall in love. :)
What made me fall in love with it?
Simply because of its Simplicity haha.
If I had to learn one new language right now?
Well... Iβm already learning Go right now, so I guess I already have my answer.π€£
Wow Kushal! At this point, Go isnβt just a language youβre learningβ¦ itβs a commitment. Lol
Python is probably the one Iβd grab coffee with, Go is the one Iβd trust to show up on time, and C++ is the friend who somehow turns a quiet evening into a three-day debugging session. π
But if I had to pick one language right now, Iβd cheat: Zee. Iβm building it myself, so at this point choosing another one might cause a domestic argument.
What made me fall in love with it? Probably the fact that when I disagree with the language, I canβt complain about the designer. I have to fix the damn thing. π
And the next language Iβd learn? Whatever teaches me something Zee doesnβt know yet.
Haha wow XD
Still working on my first one, Python but oh my by brain cannot translate this syntax. I think as hard as I try it just may be too abstract even with "hello world" and all! π
I agree with you that C++ is really hard to learn at first, but it definitely gets easier over time. Python is an easier language to learn.
I like also cpp and python :D
Nice:)
I love my trio HTML, CSS and JS
