True, but 3.8 Flash is still pretty solid... And for the limited time, free. Not 3.8 Max unfortunately, I updated the title, so nobody gets clickbaited, that wasnt my intention. I assume it's the same model they offer as 'efficient', but for people on free-tier, there's a cap on efficient, so during this time, using flash is the best move.
