I just tried it out applying for a job at Twin. But first I had it pull basic info from my old CV (for work experience, education, etc.), then had it pull all my git repos (public and private), fill in my blocks, then run the process (red teaming), ngl, it actually produced a pretty solid CV, though I am improving it a bit, mostly so links are clickable and working on the layout a bit, so it's not such large blocks of text. Have you given it a go yet? I'll get to the localization soon, though fingers crossed that it translates well 🤞
I haven’t gotten around to trying it yet. It’s the weekend, and most companies aren’t hiring right now. I plan to start working on my resume and applying for jobs this coming Monday.
I was just spamming applications mindlessly a few days ago. I did get some replies, but the roles were either too far from where I live or underpaid. Taking it one step at a time.😂
I wanna see if I cant wire in MCP-Lite, or something to take it a step further, so you just paste the link to the job posting and it fills it and applies for you. But that's something I'll probably not get to today. For now though, it worked surprisingly well. It flagged a few things, like timezone, incomplete projects, etc. Things that if an interviewer saw it, they'd ask. So it questioned me, I answered and it improved the cv to reflect it, up from a base 82/100 up to 92/100. So lets see if it works

This really helped me. I think I am kind of a "jack-of-all-trades" that you mentioned. I should seriously consider locking into one thing.
But I don't feel like dropping everything else that's the problem. Is it the sunk cost fallacy? I don't know...

It is unfortunately. If a company is hiring for a frontend developer, they arent looking to hire a full-stack, they want an expert, not a jack. So whether you pick a niche and specialize, or just selectively filter per resume, too much is too much and they dont hire too much, because that's how you get cross-talk between departments.
