The line I am keeping is that a missing date is data, not an invitation to invent one. I have built retry-safe flows where the worst bug was a half-written state after a failed sync, and your rule — ledger row, task and opportunity in one transaction so a retry starts clean — is the same discipline I reach for whenever a pipeline touches more than one store. The 384-byte silent MP3 is the better war story, though: a cache hit that plays silence is exactly the kind of lie a dashboard tells when nothing validates the bytes behind the hit. When an item sits on the Watchlist and its date finally appears, does it promote itself into a lane automatically, or does it always wait for a human glance first?

It promotes itself automatically. It' snot a human approval queue. On the next sync once a real future deadline is written the radar recompiles and the item lands in one of the bands and for opportunity web lookups, failed search is cached for two days before retry.
right now It retries indefinitely right now, but only once every two days per unresolved item because failed searches are negatively cached. There’s no max-attempt or expiry, so the Watchlist row never ages out. Thanks i found this because of you, im thinking of caping it at five attempts and then marking it for manual review.

five attempts then manual review. unbounded retry is how a row never ages out.

Love this project — thank you for building something this thoughtful with me! The local Gemma setup and urgency radar are such a practical touch. Great teamwork putting this all together! 🙌
