FlapJax Q41 audit: 12 buys, 0.12 BNB, one missed COT day

FlapJax Q41 audit: 12 buys, 0.12 BNB, one missed COT day

I rebuilt the FlapJax buyback from BSC logs for the window the Q41 task asks for: 2026-10-09 00:00:00 COT through 2026-10-21 23:59:59 COT. That is 2026-10-09 05:00:00 UTC through 2026-10-22 04:59:59 UTC, blocks 126,576,071 to 129,070,212.

The chain shows 12 buys, 0.12 BNB spent, 284418120.150881746565276184 FLAPJAX received, one missed COT day (2026-10-15), and zero FLAPJAX sales back into the pool.

The 14th program day, 2026-10-22, has one more 0.01 BNB buy at 18:26:28 UTC. It falls outside the Q41 list window (which ends at 10-21 COT), so it is reported separately at the end and is not included in the 12-buy totals.

Days with a buy: 12 of 13 in the requested window. Days missed: 2026-10-15. Days with more than one buy: none.

The gap is real: the 10-14 COT buy is at 18:32:29 UTC on 10-14, and the next buy is at 02:00:51 UTC on 10-17, which is 21:00:51 COT on 10-16. That is a 55.5-hour gap with no 10-15 COT buy.

The 14th program day (10-22), outside the requested list window

The task title says "14-day buyback 10-09 to 10-22" but the list instruction says "from 10-09 to 10-21". I am reporting the 10-22 buy separately rather than folding it into the 12-buy totals.

Including it, the full 14-day program has 13 buys, 0.13 BNB, 307853198.122483632450212521 FLAPJAX, and 13 of 14 program days with a buy. The only missed day is still 10-15 COT. The average effective price over the 14 days is 4.22279192e-10 BNB/FJ. There is no 10-23 COT buy yet as of this writing (2026-10-23T04:53:20Z); the 10-23 COT day starts at 2026-10-23 05:00:00 UTC.

Rule-by-rule check

The task names four rules. Each is marked below, with the evidence that decides it.

Announced rule Verdict Evidence
Each buy spends 0.01 BNB KEPT All 12 txs have value = 10,000,000,000,000,000 wei (0.01 BNB). No other value appears.
Only buys FLAPJAX KEPT All 12 txs go to the PancakeSwap V3 router 0x1b81d678ffb9c0263b24a97847620c99d213eb14; all 12 emit a pool-to-treasury FLAPJAX Transfer; the reverse treasury-to-pool query returns 0 logs.
At most one buy per program day, counted in COT KEPT The 12 buys fall on 12 distinct COT dates; days_duplicated = []. Two buys share the UTC date 10-17 (02:00 and 13:29 UTC), but they are COT 10-16 and COT 10-17, so the COT-day rule is not violated.
Skip a buy if it would leave the treasury under 0.025 BNB KEPT The lowest treasury balance before any buy is 0.046164984833772485 BNB (10-21). The lowest balance after any buy is 0.036164984833772485 BNB. Both are above 0.025 BNB.
Daily cadence (program preamble: "daily buyback ... for 14 days") BROKEN for 10-15 COT 12 of 13 days in the requested window have a buy; 10-15 COT has none. Including 10-22, 13 of 14 program days have a buy. The 10-15 gap is not explained by the 0.025 BNB floor: the treasury had 0.11695434822857918 BNB before the 10-14 buy and 0.10422003565479818 BNB before the 10-16 buy.

What I could not classify

  • Why 10-15 COT was skipped. There is no swap to classify, and the treasury was well above the announced 0.025 BNB floor. The chain alone does not give a reason. FlapJax's earlier statement said a make-up was owed on 10-23; 10-23 COT had not started at the time of this audit, so that make-up is not yet testable.
  • The 10-22 buy is outside the literal list window. It is a normal 0.01 BNB router buy, but because the instruction says "10-09 to 10-21", I did not add it to the 12-buy totals. Both views are shown above.
  • No other unclassified swaps. The full-window pool-to-treasury query returned exactly 12 logs, and the treasury-to-pool query returned 0. There are no partial fills, no alternative routers, and no other tokens in the buy path.

Method and reproducibility

  • Token: 0x90c8889f428F9Ebb77BB8f15CAD3a50a9aC680df (FLAPJAX, BEP-20, 18 decimals).
  • Wrapped BNB: 0xbb4CdB9CBd36B01bD1cBaEBF2De08d9173bc095c (WBNB, 18 decimals).
  • Pool: 0xcA93EC685b8623688E6B236f9068034B298c2150 (PancakeSwap V3 FLAPJAX/WBNB 1%).
  • Treasury: 0x7C34E9e21eE28A49Ff0b84B61774119E6633359f.
  • Router: 0x1b81d678ffb9c0263b24a97847620c99d213eb14.
  • Buy query: eth_getLogs on the token address, topic0 = 0xddf252ad1be2c89b69c2b068fc378daa952ba7f163c4a11628f55a4df523b3ef (Transfer), topic1 = pool padded to 32 bytes, topic2 = treasury padded to 32 bytes, from block 126576071 to 129070212, in 50,000-block chunks. Result: 12 logs.
  • Sell query: same but topic1 = treasury and topic2 = pool. Result: 0 logs.
  • Each buy was then read with eth_getTransactionByHash and eth_getTransactionReceipt to confirm the router target, the 0.01 BNB value, and the pool-to-treasury Transfer amount.
  • Price formula: slot0() selector 0x3850c7bd was called on the pool at block - 1. The first 32 bytes of the return data are sqrtPriceX96. With token0 = FLAPJAX and token1 = WBNB and both tokens at 18 decimals, the marginal price is:

price(WBNB per FLAPJAX) = (sqrtPriceX96^2 / 2^192) * 10^(18-18) = sqrtPriceX96^2 / 2^192

The 10^(18-18) term is the decimal adjustment; it is 1 because both tokens use 18 decimals. This gives the pool price before the swap.

  • Effective price: BNB in / FLAPJAX out, both read from the same tx.
  • Treasury balance: eth_getBalance(treasury, block - 1), in wei, divided by 1e18.

Every figure above can be re-checked on BscScan or any public BSC node. The two query topics and the block range are enough to reproduce the buy set exactly.
