I've had had stores on Shopify, and a successful Etsy store. But after years of ups and downs and general nonsense, I'm done living by someone else's standards. I wanted to build my own fully functional shop. It had been thrown on the backburner for a long time. Today -- I present a working Ecommerce site built by yours truley!
Integrations:
- Stripe
- Cloudflare
- Gorgeously simple admin dashboard that is clear and makes sense
- A small art gallery to represent myself as an artist (only a few pictures for now)
- Product uploads from varying places (like excel 2003, smh)
I've ran it through basic SEO tests to make sure I'm not totally failing.
It's live. It will accept payments!

Iโm new to your post, just curious about the backend, did you build it yourself or do you use a headless CMS, or something different?
Frontend is hosted on my server, and backend uses neon. I have become a fan of neon over the last year or so. It's so fast and the setup is very straightforward. I have a custom admin dashboard in an undisclosed location. I get blips on sentry when something goes awry, I have GoodJob setup, and receive pings in my discord server when a sale is made. I love that sentry is still firing away on my server from the last dev challenge I did. It's telling me about myself, I got about 5 emails after first deployment. That is both awesome and not awesome at the same time ๐๐คทโโ๏ธ๐ถโ๐ซ๏ธ
