Non-custodial crypto invoicing means the vendor cannot spend the payment

We already posted that temp-wallet-plus-sweep is custody. This is the definition post: non-custodial invoicing is issuance + watch-only matching + settlement to an address path you control (BIP-84 / CREATE2 / destination-bound PDA), without a vendor key that can empty the pay-in.

If you cannot answer “who signs the first outbound?” with “the merchant / an immutable payee,” it is not non-custodial.
