Hey all. Another week, another welcome thread!
Speaking of, welcome to DEV! As mention in a few welcome threads before, I am planning on introducing myself on Welcome Thread v400! I made a promise to @javz that I will formally introduced myself on that thread. Look forward to it :D
In any case, what brings you to DEV? Any questions? Feel free to review the Guide I made for DEV for all audiences :D

Hello, I actually just learned about dev.to and I am extremely excited about the community that exists here. I am a computer science student from Uganda, East Africa and I am excited to share and learn from this family. Thank you very much
Hi, I’m a software engineering student in Brazil, and I’m starting to get into the dev world. I joined dev.to to learn more about IT through sharing information among us, so I can keep improving my skills. It’s a great pleasure to be with you all.

Helllooooo👋new here😄
Hello 👋
Heylo!
Hi everyone.
Im a tech enthusiast a senior IT professional
I joined DEV.to because I wanted a space to share technical articles, exchange ideas, and learn from other developers and IT professionals. I recently published an article about yesterday's PHP cyberattack, which is also what brought me here!
My interests include database engineering, Databases, DevOps, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and exploring how generative AI and AI agents are changing the way we build and manage technology.
I believe there's always something new to learn in this industry, no matter how many years you've spent working in it. I'm here to share what I learn, document real-world technical experiences, and connect with people who are passionate about technology.
Looking forward to being part of the community. Feel free to say hello or share what you're currently working on!
Happy Coding 🚀
Welcome @zeeshanarif Dev.to is a wonderful community to share articles, exchange ideas and learn from others. You're in the right place!
I'm in between projects and it feels odd not to be building. But I'm going to GDG Devfest in Modesto, CA this weekend and really looking forward to it.
Looking forward to seeing your writing!
Welcome and I must say that we share very same intentions when it comes to joining Dev.to community recently.
Good luck and I am looking forward to exchange ideas, projects, solutions, inventions, advices, experiences, knowledge and inspiration with you .
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Welcome! Databases plus security plus AI agents is a good mix right now. I’m curious how you see agents fitting into database work: do you let them touch production data, or keep them read-only with a human approving any change? That boundary is the part I find hardest to get right.
Hi
Hello everybody! I've joined this site because I need a supportive community to help me build some skill with programming. I started with Stack Overflow, but I found the experience unwelcoming and decided to come to a less formal platform. I'm currently unemployed, but I'm engaging in some project-based learning that will hopefully assist me in applying what I learned in college.
Hi @scholaraj_efb24aac79 ! Glad you're here. I've found this community to be very welcoming. There is definitely a lot you can learn here and everyone is so generous with sharing their experiences. Community members will also share insightful comments on your articles, help you think through different perspectives and the best part is they help you celebrate your wins!
Happy to hear it! That's exactly what I'm looking for!
Glad to hear it!
Welcome and I hope you will enjoy your experience with Dev.to community.. I am also a newbie here, but I am veteran in programming, coding, script writing, automation, in almost all programming languages we have today, and I am willing to help you and support you and advise you towards successful projects in your future, without asking anything in return.
Feel free to contact me and I will respond ASAP. Enjoy your programming experience.
Good luck 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi devs! I build small Google Sheets tools for finding ideas on Hacker News.
